Mahón,
Minorca,
Spain
from
the
11th
to
the
17th
of
July.
The
regatta
is
organised
by
the
Club
Marítimo
de
Mahón
(CMM)
and
the
Yacht
Club
Costa
Smeralda
(YCS)
under
the
authority
of
the
Offshore
Racing
Congress
(ORC)
and
the
Royal
Spanish
Sailing
Federation
(RFEV).
The
Championship
is
sanctioned
by
the
Interrnational
Sailing
Federation
(ISAF).
The
Title
Sponsor
for
the
Regatta

ELIGIBILITY
2.1
-
The
regatta
is
open
to
all
boats
rated
IMS
(Cruiser/Racer
and
Racing)
between:
-
maximum
LOA
17.5
m.
and
minimum
GPH
495
-
minimum
LOA
9.8
m.
and
maximum
GPH
635
complying
with
the
Special
Regulations
for
Category
3
with
life
rafts
on
board
compulsory.
2.2
-
The
ISAF
Sailor’s
Classification
will
be
applied
to
the
event.
Boats
with
only
amateur
crew
with
a
current
ISAF
Group
1
classification
will
make
up
the
Corinthian
category;
boats
which
include
more
than
one
sailor
who
is
Group
2
or
3,
will
make
up
the
Non-Corinthian
category.
The
presence
of
one
crew
member
of
either
Group
2
or
3,
a
professional
sailor,
will
be
permitted
on
board
the
Group
1
(Corinthian)
yachts,
but
he
will
not
be
allowed
to
helm.
Those
sailors
not
presenting
the
ISAF
certification
of
Group
1,
will
automatically
be
excluded
from
the
“Corinthian”
category.

All
boats
shall
comply
with
the
IMS
Rules
and
Regulations.
A
copy
of
the
current
IMS
certificate
shall
be
submitted
with
the
entry
form
to
the
Club
Marítimo
de
Mahón
by
1st
May,
2005.
Late
entries
may
be
accepted
at
the
discretion
of
the
Organising
Authority.
No
moorings
are
guaranteed
for
late
entries.
Final
certificates
shall
be
submitted
to
the
CMM
Race
Office
prior
to
12.00
hrs
on
12th
July,
2005.
Changes
of
ratings
shall
not
be
possible
after
that
time
unless
prescribed
by
the
Measurement
Committee
with
the
I.J.’s
approval.
2.4
-
A
maximum
number
of
70
boats
will
be
accepted.
Entries
will
be
registered
at
the
date
of
arrival
of
the
non-refundable
entry
fee
and
entry
form
on
the
basis
“first
come,
first
served”.
Thirty
mooring
spaces
will
be
reserved
for
non
Spanish
yachts.
Measurement
protests
shall
be
accepte
up
to
two
hours
after
the
posting
of
the
final
rating
value
of
each
compettor.

be
the
official
language
used
at
the
regatta.

Sailing
Instructions
will
be
available
for
competitors
upon
final
registration
on
11th
July
2005.

EVENT
CLASSIFICATION
AND
ADVERTISING
5.1
-
The
regatta
is
Category
C
under
ISAF
Advertising
Code,
Regulation
20.
5.2
-
The
Organising
Authority
requires
all
boats
to
hoist
a
sponsor’s
pennant
and/or
to
apply
a
sponsor’s
decal
to
both
sides
of
the
bow
for
the
duration
of
the
Regatta
commencing
immediately
following
registration
until
one
hour
after
the
finish
of
the
last
race
and,
whilst
in
harbour,
boats
are
required
to
fly
the
event
flag.
The
pennant,,
the
event
flag
and
the
decals
will
be
provided
by
the
Organising
Authority.
The
Organising
Authority
may
also
require
the
installation,
at
no
cost
to
competitors,
of
on
board
video
cameras
for
the
official
television
production.

The
regatta
will
be
sailed
under
the
jurisdiction
of
the
Race
Committee
and
the
International
Jury
appointed
in
accordance
with
Appendix
“N”.
All
decisions
of
the
International
Jury
shall
be
final
as
provided
in
RRS
70.4.

8.1

and
shall
be

in

the
CMM
not

1st
May,
2005,
accompanied
by
a
non-refundable
entry fee
of
Euro
600
per
yacht
and
specifying
the
category
of
entry
(Corinthian
or
NonCorinthian).
The
Official
Entry
Form
is
available
at
CMM
and
YCCS
website.
8.2
-
Crew
lists
for
the
Corinthian
yachts
must
be
received
by
1st
July
2005
and
shall
include
the
classification
of
each
crew
member.
Crew
lists
may
be
amended
up
to
12.00
hours
on
12
th
July
2005
by
filing
a
new
form
showing
the
changes.
After
this
date
changes
in
crew
may
only
be
made
with
the
written
permission
of
the
Race
Committee.
The
protest
time
limit
for
crew
eligibility
is
18.00
hours
on
12th
July
2005.
8.3
-
Each
entry
shall
be
accompanied
by
one
copy
of
the
current
IMS
rating
certificate.
8.4
-
The
Organising
Authority
reserves
the
right
to
accept
entries
after
1st
May,
2005.
No
